Course Review November 11, 2010

Last Activities for today’s ICT Lecture;

The course review on ict exam will have 2 parts,

Part A – Question from Dr. Zahari, 3 Questions but only answer 2 questions.
Part B – Question from Dr. Leong, 3 Questions and answer all questions.

For Dr. Leong’s parts (Questions based on);

• Definitions & elaboration of curriculum, syllabus, resources, methods etc. Can do some diagram to explain all this.
• Technology based resources : Virtual Simulator and Draw Concept map (Draw and do the must do, should do and could do)
• Journal / article research that support the method of teaching that was successful in practise.

As a continuation on the last week research, we are asked to do a reserch based on our teaching fields. Today’s activities on Journal of Vocational Education Research: Internet-Based learning in Post Secondary Career and Technical Education. We do it as a group work of 2 people, i patnered with Shiela (reg. no: 10D0122). As directed, we have to post the following in the Dr. Leong’s Blog/wordpress.

Activities October 28, 2010

Today’s tasks we are asked on the following;

1. Technology resources
2. Concept Maps (e.g. fill in the blank)
3. Diversity (e.g. different way of learning, ‘must do’, ‘should do’ and ‘could do’ questions – task, assignment etc)
4. Article (based on research) – as a prove of successful and effective way of teaching (including the strategies, method of approaching this effective learning).

Last week’s lesson update on the “must do”, “should do” and “could do” in the virtual simulator page.

As part of the course requirement in completing Diploma in Technical Education (DTE) in Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE), students are acquired to create a blog for ICT Application Programme (PS 0129).

I had created this blog on 14/10/10 (Thursday). My blog’s name is “commstudybiz.wordpress.com”. Reason I named this is because I taught Commerical Studies Subject (in secondary school) and the meaning of commercial studies is the study of business activities.
